Cylindrical Fuel Tanks

Cylindrical tanks are available in both aluminum and steel. Steel is typically used when weight is not a major consideration and is the least expensive option. Aluminum is a less corrosive, light weight material which can be polished for a stainless-like appearance. Recessed, top steps, or strap mounted steps can be supplied. All cylindrical tanks are pressure-tested to ensure weld integrity. Steel tanks are painted with industrial enamel or epoxy, depending on the end-user application, and fogged internally with anti-corrosion oil. Aluminum tanks are supplied with a satin finish, but can be polished to a mirror finish or acid etched to customer specifications.

Standard Items:

2", 3" or 4" Fuel Cap & Chain, Replaceable Draw Tube, Ball Check Vent, 1/2" Drain Plug, 1/2" Plugged Crossover on each end, Float Adapter Flange with Gasket & Cover-Plate, Internal Baffles are supplied in tanks over 38" in length.

Optional Items:

Sight gauge or float sending unit, crossover or auxiliary fitting (all open fittings are plugged), anti-siphon device, locking fuel cap, drain check valve, additional fittings, and steps.
